Katrina Kaif Google's Most Popular Bollywood Search

Google has officially released their 2008 list of most searched topics, and it looks like our favorite Katrina Kaif has made the list. Over the last year her popularity has soured, and she has become one of India's top searches, not to mention the number one search for Bollywood actresses on the year. The spot, previously held by the popular Aishwarya Rai, has now been filled by the lovely Katrina Kaif, a testament to her career which has only seemed to bloom over the last 12 months.

Her new movie 'Yuvvraaj', her recent win as Eastern Eye's sexiest Asian Woman Poll has made, and the many salacious rumors surrounding her and frequent co-star and boyfriend Salman Khan, make the reasons behind the sudden change obvious. But it doesn't look as though her shining moment is set to be over any time soon. She is quickly being regarded as one of the best Bollywood actresses in the business, not to mention the most beautiful, and she has plenty of projects on her plate to keep fans coming back for more again and again.

Katrina has made no comment yet on what she thinks about this development, but with well over 200,000 results on a Google search of her name, I think it is safe to say she will be flattered, and possibly touched by the dedication of her large number of fans. And I am sure that the number of times her name shows up in other search engines across the net will prove that she is even more popular the Google suspects, and that next year the numbers will be even higher.

In the meantime I know that my own searching will continue to be as frequent as it has been, and I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we love you, Katrina, and you deserve every bit of popularity you have acquired.

The sand covering her body not only completes the total substance of the image but also makes Katrina Kaif look absolutely gorgeous under the warm summer sun. We are definitely awaiting the realease of her much talked about film, Yuvraaj which has been covered more because of the onscreen pairing with Salmaan Khan.

Katrina Kaif and her hot nuances

With people packing up more glamour and fun than never before, the Bollywood industry is also busy – with some new releases. However, our Katrina Kaif seems to be chilling out after the recent success of her film, Singh is Kinng. Katrina co-starred with Akshay Kumar in this movie to create wonderful onscreen chemistry. Some trade pundits feel that even though the movie lacked a sensible story line and logical scripts, it managed to work at the box office and garner huge profits due to brilliantly executed marketing campaigns.

Katrina Kaif had been working day in day out to ensure that no loose strings were left in the promotion of the movie. Together with Akshay, the pair made a wonderful couple on screen to deliver a block buster performance. As usual, Katrina Kaif was looking hotter than ever before and we were not disappointed.

Reportedly, it is said that Katrina relies a lot on Akshay’s judgement but he has referred Lara Dutta to almost three roles which were initially offered to Katrina Kaif. That is some food for thought. But it cannot be denied that with him, Katrina Kaif has given some massive hits such as Welcome, Namastey London, and the latest Singh is Kinng. She feels that Akshay has a terrific script sense and can judge what will work for them at the box office.

The hot actress is definitely moving around a lot these days as she was seen on three different continents within a week as she was promoting various events. Katrina Kaif it seems is taking on more and more assignments and projects with more confidence, particularly because of the string of hits she has enjoyed. Katrina Kaif - The Goddess of Luck

Katrina Kaif seems to be enjoying all the limelight that she is getting recently. Every small act which she does is hungrily chewed up and exploded by the media. Take her recent scoop for example to perform at New Year ’s Eve in Mumbai. Sources say that she will be performing at J.W Mariott’s Hotel in Mumbai and will be paid a whopping one crore rupees! Other notable actresses who have earlier performed on the same occasion in the same place are Bipasha Basu last year and Mallika Sherawat the year before that. At least all Katrina Kaif fans now know where to head this New Year’s Eve.

From her romance with Salmaan Khan to her on screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif is perhaps the most covered actress in Bollywood these days. The sultry bombshell has also been named a good luck charm by many a producer because of her hit movies in recent times such as Welcome, Race and Singh is Kinng. Katrina Kaif however feels that another lucky mascot for her apart from Akshay is Anil Kapoor with whom she starred in Welcome and Race.

She has also been voted as the sexiest pin up girl by Filmfare magazine and the hottest Asian by FHM. Quite a handful of achievements for Katrina Kaif.

No Starry Tantrums for Katrina Kaif

What do you expect the hottest actress in Bollywood to do and how do you expect her to behave with others? She has already given four back to back hits to Bollywood this year and is even been tagged as reigning Bollywood Queen of the 2008. But all these things don't change Katrina as a person. Authorities maintaining the Dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer on Friday demanded that some scenes of Namaste London , shot inside the shrine with Katrina Kaif wearing a knee-length skirt, should be deleted.

The Dargah committee's Nazim, Ahamed Raza said, "We have clarified that no permission for the shooting was granted by the dargah committee.
